The History of the Cattlelac Elite Livestock Events

Founded in 2021, Cattlelac Elite Livestock Events is marking their 5th year of organizing high-quality livestock shows. What began with just two shows and scholarships totaling $2,000 have grown exponentially. Now, in 2024, the organization has hosted 17 successful events, contributing an impressive $54,000 in scholarships for young livestock enthusiasts. Looking ahead, Cattlelac plans to further increase its impact, with a goal of awarding $65,000 in scholarships in the coming year. What sets Cattlelac Elite Livestock Events apart from other organizations in the same field is its unwavering commitment to giving back to the youth and hiring a top-tier workforce. The organization prides itself on providing an environment where the exhibitors are not only passionate about livestock but are also knowledgeable and skilled. The focus on hiring individuals who understand livestock handling and care ensures that every show runs efficiently and professionally. Over the past year, Cattlelac has organized numerous exciting events, including 17 livestock shows in 2024, and plans to host 13 events in 2025. A highlight of their 2024 season was the introduction of the first-ever Ultimate Showmanship contest, where winners from each age group earned an invitation to return for a major event in December. In addition, the organization launched the Super Point Show fitting contest, providing kids with the opportunity to hone their skills and prepare for future success, while learning valuable lessons for adulthood. Another key milestone for Cattlelac in 2024 was hosting their inaugural awards banquet, a special event to honor and celebrate the accomplishments of the young exhibitors.

Cattlelac’s biggest accomplishment in 2024 has been their continued growth, particularly in their scholarship program, which saw a 20% increase in funding. Their commitment to providing more opportunities for young people each year is a testament to the organization’s dedication to fostering success in the livestock community. While Cattlelac encounters challenges daily, they have managed to navigate them with resilience and a positive outlook. The organization feels blessed to have had such success and growth, even in the face of adversity.
